NALLA NERAM

Nalla Neram (நல்ல நேரம்) translates to 'Good Time or Auspicious time'.

Nalla Neram is an auspicious time or right time according to Tamil astrology, based on the Tamil Panchangam. 

Nalla Neram means good time or the right time to start or do some activity.

Nalla Neram is that time of the day when all celestial planets align together for you in such a manner, that it will help you achieve things successfully.

Tamil astrology recommends that any auspicious function or ceremony should take place during an auspicious time, known as Nalla Neram or good time.

Time is derived from the planets.  24 hours a day is derived based on the time earth takes to revolve around the Sun.

In olden days, time was calculated based on the lunar calendar or the solar calendar.  The Gregorian Calendar equalizes all calendars for the world.

However, solar calendar or lunar calendar is followed by large sections of people around the world, based on tradition and culture.  

Therefore, we have decided to name our brand as NALLA NERAM that will be good time in all calendars, Solar Calendar, Lunar Calendar, Gregorian Calendar or Persian Calendar (said to be the oldest).

This also signifies our human relationship with time that is defined by the planets.

As in the recent Mahakumbh in India, all 7 planets are to come together on February 28, 2025 for the most auspicious day to help all human beings.

Time is based on the movement of planets.  All humans are affected by the movement of planets.

 

Our approach to time is defined in the solar system and planets and earth.  We should approach time based on your location on this planet, culture and traditions.  

 

We accept that time is based on the lunar calendar, solar calendar and other calendars that each country or its people have followed based on their culture and traditions.  This will not change.

 

Therefore, we are not focusing on year, month, hours or seconds, but on minutes that is universal in any calendar. 

 

Minutes is the common denominator which does not change in any calendar.

 

Minutes are the only indicator of time that is relevant to people as they perform various daily tasks and their normal day starts with sunrise and ends with sunset.

 

A day in other calendars are 24 hours based on the time it takes earth to circle the Sun or from one Sunrise to the next Sunrise.  Lunar calendars take the relationship of earth to the Moon.

 

Today, every community, region, people and country follow the lunar calendar, the solar calendar or a mix of both for their family and community. 

 

We respect all calendars as it is based on planets and their movement in relationship with earth and traditions, culture as it has been accepted for millions of years, by people and their rulers.

 

We are focused on the normal working day - when people start working and stop working every day.  This working day differs from country and location. 

 

Therefore, we have chosen minutes as the central indicator of time for people to help manage their daily tasks and activities during their working day.

 

Normally, when people come home they remove their watch and spend time with family.  Therefore, time is not so important or is secondary to the intention of the person to spend time with family and of course sleep.
