நல்ல நேரம் — 'the auspicious time.' In Tamil culture, every significant moment begins at the right time. This ancient wisdom inspired a modern instrument.

THE JOURNEY

From Vision to Reality

Debut
After two years of intensive design and production, Nalla Neram made its debut at the Geneva Watch Fair — Time to Watches in April 2025, introducing the Kaalam Minutes Timer to the world.
Recognition
Our original design was awarded design patents in Switzerland and the European Union for its case, crown, pushers and dial numerals, and for its case in China and the United States.
On Tour
Throughout 2025, we presented our watches in person at watch fairs across three continents: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Bordeaux, the UK Horology Fair, and the Spring Sprang Watch Fair in Singapore.
Expanding
In April 2026, we returned to the Geneva Watch Fair — Time to Watches, continuing to grow the Kaalam Minutes Timer collection.
Red Dot
Our Kaalam Chronograph received the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026, judged by an international jury of design experts across every field of design.
Now
Two new dials, Vaanam (the sky) and Bhoomi (the earth), are now on Kickstarter, with delivery in December 2026. See the campaign →
